סיוע כלכלי = תינוק בריא

עברתי הפלה לפני כחמש שנים כשהייתי בת 26, מספרת פליסיטי אוקפילד (31). זה היה בשבוע החמישי להיריון, ממש בהתחלה.

"ההחלטה התקבלה ביני לבין בן זוגי" היא אומרת, "התגוררנו אז בדירה שכורה, והיו לנו מעט חסכונות. ומכיוון שידענו שטיפול בילדים הוא כל כך יקר, ואף אחד מההורים שלנו לא יכול היה לעזור לנו, פשוט החלטנו לוותר על הכל".

אם היה לה מעט סיוע כלכלי, ייתכן ועוד תינוק היה נולד לעולם.
